New Check Points For Drunk Drivers

California continues to crack down on drunk drivers. This weekend, May 9, 2015, in the City of Norco, a checkpoint was set up at Hamner and Alhambra Street.  During merely 7 hours, from 8 p.m., to 3:00 a.m., 4 drunk driving arrests, as well as 11 motorists were cited for driving unlicensed or on suspended or revoked licenses.
Always be aware of your surroundings and make certain you are insured against those who most likely drive without insurance. With the new laws allowing immigrants to drive, alcohol related accidents have skyrocketed.
Anyone who drives under the influence and causes death to another person can be convicted of a felony.  Not only are the criminal penalties steep, but civilly the drunk driver will be liable for all damages as well as attorney fees.
