San Bernardino Man Killed by Pipe Hauled by Truck

A man doing landscape and maintenance work on a center median died on February 5 after being struck by a 14-inch steel pipe that flew off the truck the was hauling it.

The 60-year-old man was doing road work in the center medial on Tippecanoe Ave in San Bernardino when a flatbed truck from Pipe and Supply drove by and lost some pipe that rolled off and severed his leg. The man later died at Linda University Medical Center.
